American Express Global Business Travel chief information and technology officer David Thompson will depart the travel management company on May 31, the company disclosed in a Tuesday filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Thompson's responsibilities "will be allocated to other members of the senior leadership team" upon his departure, according to the filing.
Thompson joined Amex GBT in 2017 and previously held positions with Western Union and Oracle.
Amex GBT last week agreed to be acquired for $6.3 billion by investment firm Long Lake Management. That deal is expected to close in the second half of the year, according to the TMC.
