Paul Harnedy
Yotel, the 23-property hotel chain known for its compact guest rooms, has appointed hospitality industry veteran Paul Harnedy as COO, the company announced Tuesday.
Harnedy joins from Cedar Capital Partners, where he served as EVP and head of asset management. He also held prior roles at Amaris Hospitality, Interstate Hotels & Resorts and IHG Hotels & Resorts. He will help lead UK-based Yotel’s global expansion effort to triple its portfolio to 100 hotels by 2031, according to the company.
The company also announced promotions for Ryan Dance to SVP of commercial strategy and Michael Whitehead to SVP of people, talent and learning.
Yotel plans to grow its portfolio in Europe, North America and Asia, bolstered by its exclusive agreement with Hilton Worldwide, according to the company.
